Solar Panel Developer and Financier Relocates Headquarters To Malkin Properties’ First Stamford Place
April 27, 2012
STAMFORD, Conn. – REgeneration Finance, a solar energy developer and financier, has relocated its headquarters from Harrison, N.Y. to First Stamford Place, reports Jeffrey H. Newman, executive vice president of Malkin Properties, the marketing and management agent for the three-building office complex, which is adjacent to the Stamford Transportation Center.
The tenant will take occupancy of a 4,136-square-foot space at 300 First Stamford Place for a term of ten years.
“As REgeneration Finance has grown, we were looking for new office space in Connecticut that offered Manhattan-quality amenities, with plenty of room for expansion,” said Jaime A. Smith, CEO of REgeneration. “First Stamford Place proved to be ideal for our company, offering convenience to transportation, top-tier amenities and hands-on management.”
REgeneration Finance concentrates on the solar distributed power space. The firm is focused on financing the development and ownership of solar power systems to supply electricity to municipalities, schools, universities and credit-worthy commercial off-takers. REgeneration’s management team has over 100 megawatts of experience designing, developing, financing and operating high quality solar projects.
“First Stamford Place has a well-earned reputation as a venue where tenants like REgeneration can flourish,” says Mr. Newman. “The office park’s convenient location provides direct access to highways and mass transportation, and its top-quality services and broad range of amenities make it ideal for innovative, forward-looking businesses.”
